The World: A Brief History
From GodOfDarkness
Timeline:
| Year | Event |
| 1 | The Old Humans, coming from somewhere across The Blue, first settle the Ameni area. Silla is founded. |
| 203 | The provinces north of the Long Run unite into a loose confederation known as North Amen. The confederation has a king, but, for most of the next three centuries, the title is in name only. |
| 205 | "Undead" Duke Bulla comes into the Dukedom of Bel Amar. Thanks to experiments with Necromancy, Bulla will rule until 405, at which point he appoints an heir and departs to travel the planes, but not before leaving a grim warning to those that would usurp his line. |
| 207 | The duke of Kash pledges fealty to Bulla after being soundly defeated by the latter in a battle by Bonechill Range. |
| 358 | The farmers and herders south of the Long Run pledge fealty to North Amen and agree to be ruled by a North Ameni steward. This is mostly caused by the economical codependence of the two regions. |
| 530-545 | A strange, unexplained influx of Demons into the Prime Material. |
| 545-550 | Massive waves of refugees pour into the southwest border of North Amen, fleeing from the demons who have settled in the desolate lands beyond. Chaos erupts as overpopulation leads to riots in many of the Ameni provinces. The aging, feeble king Horace XII appeals to young Duke Hessiah of Bel Amar for help. |
| 546 | Duke Hessiah of Bel Amar agrees to help the king - but only if Horace steps down and Hessiah is crowned king of all Amen. Horace, sick of power in his extreme old age, agrees, and the Amari duke is crowned King Hessiah I. He immediately begins gathering allies to control the riots and affirm his power over the provincial dukes of North Amen. |
| 548 | The last seditious Ameni lord is brought to justice and king Hessiah is recrowned as the absolute monarch of North Amen. |
| 550 | The Great Demon war begins. The Ameni army issues from Bel Amar and marches to what shall be Fel'hewath to rid it of its demon denizens. |
| 551 | Battle of The Spine The Ameni army is saved from a near-total defeat at the beginning of the war by the mysterious guardians of The Eastern Jut. Lighting runs down the fortress' towers and drives off the demons at the brink of their victory. |
| 554 | Battle of Kearn Creek Despite heavy losses, the tide of the war is turned. A grim note finishes the battle: night falls early, and the medical teams dispatched to collect the wounded and dying mysteriously disappear. The Ameni army loses as many as 15000 troops. |
| 555 | Battle of The Wall of Blood The Demon army is decimated, its leader Gaharrash slain in battle by Lord Kessal of the Province of Kash. Peace is declared, and Fel'hewath officially annexed to the kingdom of North Amen. |
| 560 | Present Day. King Hessiah I launches an Expeditionary Force to establish order in and bring civilization to Fel'hewath. |
